BAJA SAE is an intercollegiate design competition run by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Teams of students from universities all over the world design and build small off-road cars. The goal in Baja SAE racing is to design, build and race off-road vehicles that can withstand the harshest elements of rough terrain.

FORMULA SAE is a student design competition organized by SAE International. Formula SAE encompasses all aspects of a business including research, design, manufacturing, testing, developing, marketing, management, and fund raising.

3D PRINTING has taken the automotive industry by storm whereby, the CUSTOMISED cars made for Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) competetion can be made LIGHT, EFFICIENT, COST EFFECTIVELY & in MINIMAL TIME by the use of 3D Printed parts.

FRP Producing Moulds

Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) (also fibre-reinforced polymer) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres. The fibres are usually glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt. Parts made of FRP can withstand high heat and vibrations. Oxygen to Innovation ( O2i ) makes CUSTOMISED MOULDS to produce FRP AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS for CUSTOMISED CAR applications of SAE COMPETING TEAMS.

3D Printing of Customised Parts

We use 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY for SAE Teams to 3D Print variety of car components ranging from AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS, DISC BRAKES, STEERING WHEELS in ABS, PC ( Poly Carbonate ). These customised 3D Printed parts are more DURABLE & LIGHT WEIGHT and ensures that your car is lighter & MORE COMPETITIVE.

Process Work Flow

  • Working with the SAE team & finalising the design of car part to be 3D Printed.

  • 3D Printing for SAE Team the desired part.

  • FRP mould production depending on request of the team.

Delivery time for 3D Printed Part usually varies from 3 - 5 Business days depending upon CAD design finalisation and printing time. The FRP part would take between 5 - 7 Business days to produce.
